There is no fourth outcome. The agent never guesses at an answer it does not have, and nothing waits in a voicemail box.

A booking

The visit, the reason, the patient's insurance and two preferred times, in the shape your scheduler needs.

New patient · cleaning and exam · Delta Dental PPO · prefers Tue afternoon or Thu morning

A message

Emailed to your team the moment the call ends. If the email cannot send, a callback work order is filed so nothing is lost.

A person

For the cases you define in plain words, the caller is patched through to the phone you named, with a whispered summary before you say hello.

"Severe pain after an extraction on Friday. Patient is Mr. Reyes. Connecting."

It fits the practice you already run.

  • Your number stays with your carrier.Forward it to Sureline in two minutes. Turn the forwarding off any time by dialing a code. Nothing is ported.
  • Your scheduler stays your scheduler. The agent captures the visit details and sends them to your team, who confirm in the system they already use. Most schedulers connect through Zapier.
  • Your policies are the script.Hours, accepted insurance, new-patient rules, parking. Written once, used by every agent, and flagged when they look out of date.
  • Your team reads everything. One thread per patient across phone, web and text. The transcript, the audio, and a reply box.

What happens to a patient's call

Four answers with numbers in them, because this is how the software already works. Ask us anything else, a business associate agreement included, and you get a straight answer in writing.

Write to support@sureline.io

  • Recordings are destroyed after 60 days and transcripts after a year. Backups hold a copy 14 days longer.
  • Every destruction is written down, so a patient who asks what became of their call gets an answer with a date on it
  • Encrypted in transit, and at rest under keys that rotate on a schedule
  • A caller's number and email are encrypted row by row, not just on the disk beneath them, and only a masked form is ever shown

Fair questions.

Will patients know it is not a person?

Yes. The agent introduces itself as the practice's assistant and never pretends otherwise. Most callers want the appointment booked, not the small talk.

What if a patient asks something it cannot answer?

It takes a message or books a callback. On the phone it can transfer to a person you named. It never guesses at an answer it does not have.

Do we have to change our phone system?

No. Forward your existing number. It never leaves your carrier, and you can switch the forwarding off any time by dialing a code.

How does it learn our policies?

It reads your website, then asks you about hours, accepted insurance and new-patient rules once. Every agent you build shares that knowledge.

Does it book into our scheduler?

It captures the visit, the reason, the insurance and two preferred times and sends them to your team, who confirm in the scheduler they already use. Most schedulers connect through Zapier.

What does a typical month cost?

A single-location practice usually lands between $10 and $25 a month, all in. There is no plan, no seat and no monthly minimum, and the first $10 of credit is free.
